Gout occurs when urate crystals accumulate in your joints. This causes inflammation and intense pain. This clinical research aims to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for Gout. Study participation may include 16 clinic visits over up to 28 weeks with an option to join a long-term extension study if eligible. Qualified participants may receive compensation of up to $1,250 for study-related time and travel for each visit.
The GUARD study is looking for participants 19 through 69 years of age diagnosed with gout.
